With both teams slightly down on numbers, the game featured three-player scrums as Braintree made the better start to score two tries, one converted, as they took a 12-0 lead.
Some great scrummaging from Woodham helped them to get back into the contest, and two tries saw the gap cut to 12-10 at half-time.
Woodham began the second half well, returning a deep opening kick-off to press downfield where some good scrummaging and quick decisions around the rucks helped set up a try to move ahead.
Despite Braintree's efforts, Woodham's defence held firm and a breakaway try sealed a hard-fought win.
Well done to the U15s - this win was a good reward for a summer's hard work in training.
