As you may know Essex RFU have recently announced a new Club Essex Referee Forum. The basis of this forum will be to share and explore good practice amongst your club referees in a bid to continue their development and expertise, so that their own club may benefit from their continued referee education.

The first education afternoon took place at Thurrock RFC on Sunday 30th October.

This inaugural session re-capped on the new laws for the 2016/17 season, and also looked at the tackle; with those attending completing the CMOD - Tackle CPD. Based on feed back the next quarterly session will look at the Ruck and Maul, and will take place in Mid January (Date/Time and Location TBC).
